Our low protein meals with 40% cooked meat, is a safe option for senior dogs, whose activities have reduced. The 30% cooked meat option, is only for dogs suffering from chronic kidney or liver diseases.
When transitioning your dog to a low protein diet, we recommend going slowly. First by choosing the 40% option for 15-30 days. And gradually choosing the 30% protein only in cases of chronic kidney disease. Move to 30% protein based on vet’s advice, blood works and your pup’s response.
Our meals stay fresh for 10 days, when stored in the refrigerator since we vacuum pack the dog meal packs. The vacuum packed meals stays fresh in the freezer for 30 days.
